Champions League star set for West Ham?

The FC Copenhagen defender, who starred in a 1-0 win over Manchester United in the UEFA Champions League this season, claims to have been the subject of Hammers interest during the winter transfer market. "The agents talked, but that was all," Hangeland is quoted in The Independent. "It never ended in anything concrete. I'm in no hurry (to leave), but playing against Manchester United was a great experience." It is now being suggested that Alan Curbishley will renew his interest in the 26-year-old at the end of the season, regardless of which division the Upton Park club find themselves in. .
